The 7th National Conference on Pulsed Power and the 8th National Academic Exchange Conference on Special Power Sources was held in Chongqing from October 10 to 13, 2021. The conference was co-sponsored by Pulsed Power Technology and Application Branch of Chinese Nuclear Society and Special Power Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Power Sources, and hosted by the Editorial Department of High Power Laser and Particle Beams， and co-sponsored by key Laboratory of Pulsed Power Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The purpose is to strengthen the academic exchanges of researchers in the fields of pulse power technology and special power supply, focus on displaying the latest progress and research results in related fields, discuss scientific innovation and technological progress, and promote the integrated development of industry-university-research in engineering applications in related fields. It is the first time that the academic exchange conference is held together.
